Short description | The Adventures of Grog, Part VIII. |
After spending an unforgettable (yet majoritively forgotten) amount of time deep in the marsh pit, revelling in their victory with the Wise Old Man & his copious amount of now-fermented grapes, the soggy, groggy & (extensively) brain-foggy Grog & Grag find themselves at a crossroads – do they continue heading north towards the Duke's stronghold? Or west towards the Baron's port?
Unsure about which direction to take, they sought advice from the Wise Old Man - who was currently fully saturated & slumped over an empty barrel in the middle of their encampment. In response, they received a cryptic hand gesture bearing a vague resemblance to a “W”, along with an intoxifyingly slurred & barely decipherable murmur about something to do with today being a good day.
Moments later, a member of Greg's clan appeared limping from the western road. Exhausted and coated in congealed blood, he bore unfortunate news: Greg & Gregina were trapped behind Lord Hera Pitza's fortress & were in desperate need of aid! Upon hearing this, Grog & Grag leapt into action - refilling their barrels at a head-spinningly blurry pace in order to prepare for their journey. So rapid were the refills that those witnessing such an astonishing feat of logistical virtuosity swiftly developed a similar state of mind to that of the Wise Old Man, and were rendered immediately incapacitated. Will our dynamic duo be in time to save their favourite barbarian companions from their imminent predicament? Even the Wise Old Man hasn't the foggiest in his current state, so let us strike forth into the unknown & find out!
